The Therapist Practice Series - Part 5: Managing Your Workflow

5Managing-Your-Workflow-630x315.jpgAs we discussed in Part 4, digitizing your practice will save you time and money. It will also give a more flexible and pleasant experience to your customers. In this article, we explain how to maximize your workflows and make the most of our connected world.

An easy experience for first-time visitors

For first-time visitors, make sure to create a responsive website that's easy to use. This site should provide visitors with information about your practice. It should also include content about your field of expertise, and ways to connect with you. Finally, it should give an easy way for them to register as a patient in your practice.

An easy experience for existing patients

Your platform should also give your current customers an easy way to book an appointment. Give them access to your calendar. Let them choose a day and time that works best for them based on your availability. Letting customers register themselves and book appointments will save you countless hours.

Last but not least, use a tablet instead of a notebook. By digitizing your notes, you'll have the ability to add these notes to your online portal. Link your notes to their contact details, appointments, billing information, insurance and prescriptions. Having everything in one place will simplify your work and increase your efficiency.

Therasoft, the perfect platform to modernize your mental health practice

Therasoft offers an online platform for mental health practitioners that does just that. We provide a centralized platform to manage your customer interactions. Your patients can register themselves and make an appointment without you lifting a finger. We also offer services such as website creation and payment systems. The question isn't if you're too old to make these changes. The questions is whether you are ready to adapt to the new digital age. We can help.

In Part 6 of the Therapist Practice series, we’ll talk about how to manage your cash flows to build a successful practice. Subscribe to our newsletter to receive the next article directly in your inbox. And follow us on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn for more useful resources for therapists!
